The Globe Conference and Trade Fair will be held in the beautiful city, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada from March 24 to 26, 2010
GLOBE 2010 is one of the world's largest and longest-running events dedicated to the business of the environment. Every two years, over 10,000 professionals from 70+ countries come together at GLOBE for three days of thought-leading sessions presented by world-renowned sustainability experts; to survey leading-edge environmental innovations; and participate in unparalleled global networking opportunities. GLOBE2010 will explore the mutually inclusive goals of: corporate sustainability, climate change, carbon management, clean energy, sustainable finance, and greener cities.
Canadian Trade Office in Taipei continues to provide our best efforts to facilitate the exchange between Canada and Taiwan in the environment industry and relevant event activities, including the biannual GLOBE event. Except the designated agenda made by Globe Foundation, Canadian Trade Office in Taipei and Canadian Federal and Provincial Governments will also arrange the site visits before and after the Globe event. The six different areas of the site visit before the Globe include: Water / Wastewater, Solid / Hazardous Waste, Bioenergy / Biofuels, Hydrogen / Fuel Cells, Clean Energy, and Green Buildings / Energy Efficiency. In addition, a half day business-to-business matchmaking program during the conference will be arranged based on your meeting interest.
Canadian Trade Office in Taipei (CTOT) will lead and facilitate the Mission from Taiwan to Globe2010. However, due to CTOT is a government organisation, we are not in the position to recommend/arrange mission members’ air flights and accommodations. We will provide the travel agents who provide best offers to our Office for your consideration. We will suggest you in terms of your flight dates. The mission members can plan your own flights and accommodations based on your preference to/in Vancouver.
You can also find more travel/accommodation information regarding Globe 2010 by www.globe2010.com. If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact Vanessa Chen, Commercial Officer of Canadian Trade Office in Taipei. Our office will facilitate interested companies and individuals from Taiwan to be granted free access to the trade fair and a special rate for the conference.
